Supplying your own clothing
We offer the service of embroidering clothing supplied by you, please see price guides below.
For new logo's that we have not embroidered before a once of setup fee is required.
- Embroidery sizes and prices are guidelines only. Email us your requirements and logo image for an accurate quote.
- Lower prices may be available on Medium–XL designs when the logo is simple or text‑only.
- Large embroidery may not suit all garment sizes or fabrics. We generally don’t recommend T‑shirt embroidery, but we’re happy to advise.
- Some garments require specific embroidery frames, which can limit the maximum design size.
- Cap embroidery is limited to 60mm height, but can run the full width of the front panel. Some cap styles also allow side and back embroidery.
- 3D Puff and specialist threads (e.g., metallic) incur additional fees.
VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
By supplying your own items for embroidery, you are agreeing to our T&C’s
- All garments are handled and embroidered with the utmost care; however, embroidery on customer‑supplied items is carried out entirely at the customer’s own risk.
- Assegai / Burton Embroidery cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during embroidery or while garments are in transit.
- Garments are checked upon receipt and you will be notified if any visible damage or faults are found. However, we are not liable for any issues that may be missed during inspection and subsequently embroidered.
- Customers are responsible for providing replacements for any faulty garments sent to us for embroidery (if required).
- For new logos that are set up, a photo of a stitched sample will be emailed to you for approval before we embroider your garments. For text that is set up in‑house (free setup), a digital image may be sent for approval instead of a stitched sample. Please note that, due to differences in screen displays, thread colours in sample photos or digital proofs may appear slightly different from the physical embroidery. Approval must be made by email, and once approval is given, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors.
- We strongly advise against sending irreplaceable or sentimental items. Although rare, embroidery machines can develop unexpected faults that may damage a garment.
- We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to items during shipping to or from us.
- If an embroidery mistake occurs that is our fault (for example, incorrect thread colour, incorrect placement, or an error that differs from the customer‑approved sample or instructions), we will replace the item using garments sourced from our own suppliers.
As customer‑supplied garments come from many different retailers, an exact match may not always be possible, but we will always provide a replacement that is as close in style, colour, and quality as reasonably available.
This applies only to errors made by us that fall outside of what the customer has approved. - Logo / Image Copyrights & Trademarks – Please ensure that any logos, images, words, or phrases (“Artwork”) you provide are owned by you or that you have permission to use them. The Artwork must not infringe the rights of any other person or organisation. Assegai – Burton Embroidery Service cannot be held responsible for any claims, costs, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from a claim that the Artwork infringes the rights of a third party.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
